WAH-HOO-WAH NOTES FROM NEW YORK CITY

DARTMOUTH-NEW-YORKER-of-the-month is Dr. Edmund Ezra Day '05, recently chosen to head Cornell University. His is the shock of changing from the pleasant job of dispensing some $28,000,000 for the Rockefellers to the difficult task of gathering in the sheaves for the college that has supplied every high school in the country with an Alma Mater tune. He had barely stepped into his job when his Alma Mater's football team, forgetting their duty to an old Dartmouth man, trounced the Big Red team, 20 to 6. Dr. Day, however, is in the fortunate position of always being on the winning side in this annual clash.
