While Guy R. Clark and Mrs. Clark were still at their headquarters in Windsor, Vt., last summer, Clark was taken seriously ill and required the attendance of a physician and nurse for five weeks. As soon as his strength warranted the return trip was made by automobile to Davenport, lowa, with a rest of one week in Ohio. He reports (October) his health and strength fully restored.

An examination of the Dartmouth Ae-gis for the year 1873-4 reveals rather surprising errors and variations in the names of members of the class of '76. Very likely other classes would show something similar. Guy R. Clark appears as Gray R. Clark, Clifton S. Deane as Clifton S. Dean, Arthur Hay as Arthur Hey, Frank P. Hill as Franklin P. Hill, and Frank M. McCutcheon as Frank M. Cutchins. Frank P. Hill was named for Pres. Frank (Franklin) Pierce. The Pierce and Hill families were neighbors and had intimate relations. Fennel still holds to the original form of his name, while practically every other family of that name in New England has doubled the final "1."
