Dean Chamberlin '26, former utility out-fielder for the Dartmouth Administration, and now a sort of wandering minstrel for the Carnegie Foundation, is making New York and the Club his unofficial headquarters. Dean's new job, in case you haven't heard, consists of traveling around to five different colleges, watching over a group of specially prepared hothouse students who represent a new experiment in education, getting to know them, and checking up on how they compare with regularly prepared students. "Uncle Dean," as he will probably be called, will continue this nursing and observing process for some five years, and New York should see a lot of him. New York, fortunately, is built upon a bedrock foundation, and while some of the shakier buildings are being propped up, little trouble is expected.
