THE 24TH Annual Meeting of the Cheshire County Dartmouth Alumni Association was held at the Hotel Ellis, Saturday evening, January 4, 1936.
The following officers were elected for the coming year: President Fuller Ripley '33 Vice President Forrest Hall '03 Secretary-Treasurer Russell G. Putney '22
Short talks were given by Elgin Jones '74, Dr. Charles S. Walker '89, George Hanna '39, and Arthur Mulvaney, a Maine graduate, who has had pleasant relations with Dartmouth beginning with the time he played against Cuddy Murphy as a freshman.
Following these speeches the latest Dartmouth films were shown featuring the first Dartmouth victory over Yale. These films were very good considering the poor visibility of the day. The assembly also enjoyed the pine needle skiing of Dick Durrance '38.
As one graduate put it, he saw more and heard less at this banquet than at any other for quite some time.
