Alumni Council Meets

The Council of the Alumni of Dartmouth College will hold its annual Commencement meeting in the library of Sanborn House on June 12. The morning session will begin at 10:00 and will adjourn at noon for the joint luncheon with the Board of Trustees of the College at 12:30 at the Hanover Inn. Business sessions of the Council will continue after the luncheon, at which time the annual meeting with the President will be held.

Two matters of particular importance are scheduled for discussion. One is the reference to the Council, by the President of the College, of the Fraternity Report of the Social Survey Committee. The other is a presentation by William J. Minsch 'O7 of plans for the Council's program on gifts and endowment. Several committee reports on matters of regular Council business will be on the program in addition to the discussions mentioned above and the annual meeting with the President. These will include reports from the executive committee, headed by Carl F. Woods 'O4, president of the Council; the alumni projects committee, headed by Benjamin W. Couch '96; the committee on admissions and schools, headed by John R. Burleigh 'l4; the Alumni Fund Committee, by John W. Hubbell 'gi, chairman; a report from the Athletic Council by Clarence G. McDavitt 'OO, chairman; and a report from the nominating committee by Edwin R. Bartlett 'O4, chairman.
