George Young spent several weeks during the past summer at Wentworth-by-the-Sea at Portsmouth Had a pleasant chat with Mrs. Caswell when in Portland in July. Although of course she misses the Doctor, she seems to be getting along comfortably in her home, and has made no definite plans yet for the future. She spoke of the pleasure they both had attending a Dartmouth dinner last winter in St. Petersburg, Fla., where they had spent several winters. Caswell was of a rather retiring disposition, but always attended our reunions At long last we have heard from Dearborn. On a card dated at Lyons, N. J., he writes that if he can get to Hanover in 1940 he will undoubtedly join the grayheads in the exhibit parade of longevity. Can't imagine Georgie with gray hair We are starting off this fall with 35 living graduates. As far as known, all are in good health 'Eighty-nine has 28, 'BB has 29, and 'B7 has 35. Took Judge Griffith '93 over through the Green Mountains to his home in Manchester, Vt., on Sunday, and spent the night there. Eddie has a pleasant home and a hospitable wife, and we had a good time reminiscing about the people and events of the summer we spent in the office of the Waumbek Hotel. .... Incidentally we visited the little school house at Wells, Vt., where the Secretary taught school half a century ago Gerould and Caswell also represented '9O at the Alumni Luncheon Called on Mrs. Bugbee, but she was in New York On her way back from Florida, Mrs. Mills visited her son in Cleveland Fred Woods' new address in Wellesley, Mass., is 22 Dover Road. Clif Campbell called on him recently. Clif's daughter is a junior at Wellesley The latest catalogue of the Lyndon Institute contains a fine picture of Senator Mathewson Mrs. Hardy and the Secretary spent a very pleasant week-end at the Hanover Inn the middle of May, attending the annual meeting of class and club secretaries Alvin H. The writer spent his vacation in the Catskills Safford entertained John McDonald and wife at his Woods Hole cottage, also Woods and wife and Prof. Gerould Ruggles spent August at Nantucket Hilton had a rather active summer with important business affairs, displaying his usual energy and keenness. Was at his Tewksbury farm in July, but has returned to Chicago. .... George Moses spent a good part of the summer in the hospital, and, afterward, convalescing from an operation, had a lot of spare time which he utilized in trying to catch up in his reading Reynolds visited the land of the peaceful Swede in August, then went on to Norway to renew an acquaintance with its fjords and its caviar. Then to London for a fortnight, returning on the Queen Mary the first of October Subscribe for the MAGAZINE and keep in touch with classmates.
