Doc Lougee has served notice on the Secretary that his name must not take any more space in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. O. K„ Doc.
Mrs. Lougee reports good news from Gove. She has reason to believe that he will be in Hanover for our 50th reunion. Mrs. Lougee and her spouse look "as fit as a fiddle," too young to have been graduated 49 years ago.
Short.—An interesting letter from Mrs. Short, Maude, as we know her at reunions, came to Mrs. Cate about Christmas. She writes from Long Beach, Calif. (126 Sierra Drive), where she is spending the winter with her son, Wallace Jr., who is an officer on the cruiser Chicago, at present stationed on the West Coast. I judge that she and the wife of Wallace Jr. have taken in most of the grandeurs of the Pacific Coast states. She expects to return East via the Southern Pacific route with numerous stops, reaching New York state late in June, and to spend die summer at their cottage on Lake Titus. Her daughter Margaret, whom we all remember most pleasantly, is teaching music at Lynbrook, L. I. William, the older son, is with Westinghouse Cos. in New York City.
