Fred A. Walker. We all recall that Fred has for many years (since 1915, to be specific) presented the "Dartmouth Medal" to the pupil in the Rochester High School having the best scholarship record for the year. We learn from the Rochester Observer of July 1, 1943, how this award came to be. Few graduates of our time have shown an equal interest in their native towns. We are pleased that the medallion in bronze which he presented to each member of the class at our 25th reunion served as the inspiration for the present award.
John Lew Clark and Mrs. Clark spent the summer in Exeter, fearing that rationing and other war restrictions would mar the beauties of the lakeside camp.
Fisher Hildreth Pearson Jr. was born at Richardson House, in Boston, on August 3. This must be the grandson of our Ben. The mother is Nancy Green Pearson of Beacon St., Boston. The father is doubtless the son of Ben, who, we remember, attended our 50th.
Charles R. Spalding's present address is Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Box 652. Charles-has had "his day" in the hospital, but is now feeling better.
W. W. L . What would this scribe do without him! Doc reports his son Larry was in Alaska when last heard from. Both Doc and Mrs. L spent the sum-
mer at home and they have survived the heat.
Wendell Williams and Mrs. Williams spent a month at the Lake Placid Club as usual, where Wendell played golf, as is his habit.
