FACULTY TEAM To PLAY

The Department lately announced a new feature for the intramural hockey season; namely, a faculty-fraternity game to wind up the season. The faculty teamas yet an unknown quantity, but potentially a real force in the hockey world in Hanover—is negotiating for a game with one of the fraternity teams in the near future. The game in prospect is between the faculty team and the winning fraternity team at the end of the season. The same idea has been in operation in the annual soft-ball baseball game between the sociology majors and the sociology professors. If such an idea can be incorporated into intramurals, the thing would seem to be infinitely worthwhile. The faculty should sport a fine team of hockey players, and the game should create a good deal of interest and fun.

Next month's picture will be largely colored by the annual extra-mural meet between Harvard and Dartmouth. The winning champions in the intramural boxing and wrestling tournaments, the winning basketball team, and possibly a winning hockey team will go to Harvard late in February to compete with the Crimson intramural champions.
