The third annual North Country Fair, for the benefit of the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital, will be held in Alumni Gymnasium on the afternoons and evenings of March 5 and 6. The Hospital Auxiliary, of which Mrs. Robert C. Strong is president, is sponsoring the affair.
In two previous years the North Country Fair has been the Auxiliary's principal means of meeting the annual maintenance problem of the Hospital and has at the same time been a major social event for the College, the community, and the surrounding towns. Last year the Auxiliary's benefit took the form of a George Washington's Birthday Party in the gymnasium.
This year's Fair will be under the general direction of the Ways and Means Committee of the Auxiliary, with Sidney C. Hayward '26 as chairman. Other members of the directing group are Mrs. Ernest M. Hopkins, Mrs. Archie B. Gile, Prof. Allen R. Foley '20, and Ives Atherton '24.
