From the Herald Tribune comes the following under date of Feb. 12:

"THIELLS, N. Y.-A portrait of the late Dr. Charles S. Little, developer and for more than twenty-five years superintendent of Letchworth Village, the New York state institution for the feebleminded, was presented to the state in exercises held here today in the Charles Sherman Little Administration Building of the village. The portrait, the gift of Dr. Little's associates and friends, was accepted for the state by Dr. Frederick W. Parsons, Commissioner of Hygiene.

"Dr. F. C. Shultis, of Leominster, Mass., in presenting the portrait, said that Letchworth Village was a monument which Dr. Little's friends were 'proud that he built.' Dr. Harry C. Storrs, superintendent of the Wassaic State School, unveiled the portrait, which was executed by Henry R. Rittenberg.

"Other speakers at the exercises were Dr. James K. Pettit, acting superintendent of the village; F. B. Kirkbride, president of the board of visitors, who presided; justice Mortimer B. Patterson, of Nyack, N. Y., and Dr. Arthur H. Ruggles, president of the National Committee for Mental Hygiene."

Edward Lord, president of the class, was present to represent the class.
