The Annual meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Greater Miami, held this year jointly with the Dartmouth Club of the Gold Coast, was without doubt the greatest gathering of the clan held in these Southern climes, in history. 76 men of Dartmouth, their wives and sweethearts, gathered at the Golden Gate Hotel on Miami Beach on Sunday, March 24, together with President of the College, John Sloan Dickey and his charming wife, Christina, for cocktails in the beautiful Bar of Gold and then a fine dinner in the new Auditorium of the Golden Gate.

Newly-elected president of the group, Dan Quilty '38, acting as toastmaster and general factotum, did an admirable job of getting his charges off to a rousing start for the coming year. He then introduced Chuck Garnsey '20, Alumni Council member, who had the distinction and honor of introducing the "piece de resistance" of the evening, President Dickey. After a rousing Wah Hoo Wah, led by Amos (Jack) Crooks '11, the President led us all back to Hanover Plain with one of the most inspirational, interesting and informative talks on Dartmouth that has been heard in these parts in many a moon. We all feel and know Dartmouth better after this thrilling experience. The meeting closed officially with the singing of Men of Dartmouth, ably led by Fred Longhurst '24h.

Luncheons, as usual are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Seven Seas Restaurant here in Miami and any visiting alumni are always welcome.
