THE MOST IMPORTANT bit of specific business taken up at the April 24 meeting of the Dartmouth Club of the Lehigh Valley was the decision, which was unanimous, to change the name of the organization to Dartmouth Alumni Association of Eastern Pennsylvania.
An enthusiastic gathering sat down to dinner that evening in the University Room o£ the Hotel Bethlehem, the prize for coming the greatest distance going to Jesse W. Gage '06, who drove over from Blairstown, N. J., especially for the occasion. What the men lacked in numbers they made up in quality, was the consensus of those members present. Numerous regrets came in from cities throughout the club's constituency, seeming to indicate that Saturday is a complicated evening and therefore not exactly suitable for an alumni dinner. Movies of football were shown after the dinner.
The next meeting, to be held in Reading, Pa., during the latter part of May, will be a matter for discussion by the historians by the time this column reaches your eyes.
