According to the latest figures available to the Secretary, 81 members of the class of 1912 have subscribed to the ALUMNI MAGAZINE. We still have to have 21 subscriptions to keep the class out of the red. I suppose only subscribers will see this note, but if you can buttonhole another 1912 non-subscriber and induce him to send in his $2, you will help the class treasury that much.
Your Secretary is advised that the JackO'Lantern is scheduled to publish a thirtieth anniversary number in March, 1938. Here is a chance for Lyme Armes, Dud Redfield, and the other 1912 wits to get busy and throw some of their old stuff.

In the list of trustees of the new National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis announced by the President on November 24, for the purpose of coordinating and directing the drive against this disease, appears the name of Basil O'Connor. The first task of the Foundation will be to arrange the President's Birthday Ball, held annually on his birthday.
Elvira O'Connor is a fully enrolled student at Cornell for three months, where she is suffering all the trials and tribulations of a freshman. She is having a grand time and taking a three months' course in agriculture and horticulture.

Manvel Whittemore is mayor of the vil- lage of Scarsdale, N. Y., a job which consumes a large part of his spare time. Your Secretary has just received a report of proposed buildings in this village, which include a village hall, library, police headquarters, and court and fire house, at a total estimated cost of nearly half a million. Scarsdale is evidently enjoying a farsighted, progressive, and efficient administration.
