Four Scorpios have birthdays in November. On the first day of the month Reg Parks became 90 years old. Congratulatory cards, although late, should be mailed to Reginald S. Parks, 1103 Via Roble, Lafayette, CA 94549-292.

Two other Scorpios are Ort Hicks, November 6, and Victor Welch, November 15.

Our lone Sagittarius is Jerry Cutler, whose birthday is November 29.

"Jeopardy" is one of my favorite TV programs. Recently I was surprised when none of the three young contestants could give the total cost of a $4 article plus a sales tax of 6.5 percent; and this oldster knew within two seconds that the total cost was $4.26. Evidently simple arithmetic is passe in this era of computeritis.
