FOLLOWING THE excitement of a successful football season and the activities of the Christmas Holidays, the Dartmouth Association of Nashua opened its winter season with one of the most successful and interesting meetings in its history.

The occasion was a dinner at the Nashua Country Club on January 20th, and in spite of the fact that the Nashua Association is one of the smaller Dartmouth Alumni groups, Dean Emeritus Craven Laycock was kind enough to attend, representing the College. The party was entirely informal, and being assured that there would be no representatives of the press officially present, Craven was free to favor us with informal reminiscences of his experiences in the Dean's Office, which were presented in his own inimitable manner and were far more interesting and effective than any formal address could possibly be.

There were no other speakers, but through the courtesy of Murray J. Wright '26, who officiated at the projector, we enjoyed the two new reels of color movies, depicting Hanover life in the springtime, recently released by the College. These were a beautiful example of color photography and were much appreciated.

In addition to guests, there were present forty-five members of the Association out of a total membership of about sixty, and we all are looking forward to the Annual Meeting on Dartmouth Night, with the hope that we will have a 100% attendance.
