THE DARTMOUTH Alumni Club of Virginia had a record turn-out of 16 for the regular weekly luncheon Tuesday, January 18. This is nearly 100% of membership in Richmond, though there are now 75 alumni scattered through the state.

The only regretful feature of the meeting was the necessity to say goodbye to Morgan Reynolds '33, who has left the News Leader here to become telegraph editor of the Banner in Nashville, Tenn., which is the home of his wife. We were pleasantly surprised when Roger Johnson '25, our former secretary, dropped in on us from Washington, D. C., where he is now with the telephone company. We were also glad to have with us Clarence Johnson of Bowdoin, brother-in-law of Bill McCarter, our famed Director of Athletics in Hanover, who is now with the telephone company here.

Albert Ochsner '35, called up yesterday to advise that he is doing his bit toward a larger representation from these parts in Hanover. He is now the father of a 714 pound boy born Saturday night. Bill King '33 is also a father, but being a girl, born last July, she can only go to Hanover as a Winter Carnival guest.

We are glad to welcome the following alumni now living in the state—Morris Storer '26 in Belle Haven, Homer J. Cleary '2l in Blacksburg, Albert T. Lyon '22, and Richard J. McCornack '32, both in Lynchburg, Lt. Comm. T. C. Lonnquest 'l7 at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk, also Jack E. Wilson '34 in Norfolk, Harold C. Pownall '27 in Roanoke, and R. L. James Jr. '33 in Staunton.

We hope to see some of them at our weekly luncheons every Tuesday at Murphy's Hotel from 12:30 on, also any other Dartmouth men who happen to be here on Tuesdays.
