Clarence Power "C.P."Montgomery has recently made the transition from his practice of law in the construction contracts area to retirement. On one of several trips to the Southwest in recent years, he and wife Margaret became enamored of a plot of land on a ridge with a mountain view near Tucson, and have since erected their dream house there. C.P.'s brother, a retired 1.8.M. employee, has retired in the area, and C.P. and Margaret plan to head for Tucson when they sell their home in McLean, Va. C.P. remarked that he and Margaret enjoyed two interesting weeks in Korea, the first of which consisted of an in depth introduction to the country courtesy of a friend in the military.

Stu Economou continues his successful law practice out of an historical townhouse on a lot surveyed by George Washington in Alexandria, Va. He is proud of a jury verdict in Prince George's County, Md., awarding one of his clients $14.6 million, believed to be the highest such award in that county if not the state. Stu remarked that the client's wife and the IRS liked the verdict, too. Stu and his wife, Lauretta, sneak off when they can to their yearround hideaway on Maryland's eastern shore. Their daughter is a high-school senior who accompanied her parents on a trip to Hanover last summer. Stu says he has seen fraternity brothers Al Munro and Tom Margetts.

He says Al is working in Greenwich, Conn., where he is remarried with two young children, and that Tom commutes between his home in Morristown, N.J., and his job with Stant Corp. in Richmond, Ind. Stu says he was happy to assist Tom, our head class agent, in his very successful fundraising efforts.

A third lawyer, Sam Swansen, writes that he has been "a contributing author to a book—Legacy." He invites us to visit his website at: .

Dave Ramsburg lives in Virginia and works for Federal Express. He enjoys reading history and biographies, and has spent some interesting hours researching his family genealogy. He is also an amateur photographer, and has shared information on cameras with Greg Stark, who Dave says has been very active as a collector. Dave's older son Christian, a graduate of the University of Virginia, works in computers in Charlottesville, while younger son Andrew, a high-school senior, is currently applying to colleges.

On a sad note, I have just received word that two of our classmates have died: George Hampton in October and DickKarpawich in November.
