THE DARTMOUTH CLUB OF VIRGINIA resumes its weekly luncheons at Murphy's Hotel in Richmond every Tuesday from 12:30 on. Visiting Dartmouth men please note.

Our annual meeting this year was held Saturday, April 15, at "Windemere," the Richmond home of Dr. Douglas VanderHoof '01. We were very fortunate in having with us both Prexy Hopkins and Dean Neidlinger, the first time we have ever been able to corral them both. About 40 alumni were present including guests from Washington, D. C. and North Carolina. After the usual festivities a business meeting was held and the following officers elected—Dr. Douglas VanderHoof '01, president; Charles H. R. Howe '01, vice president; Paul Gibson '15, secretary; Charles G. Milham '06, was given a rising vote of thanks for his work as president the previous year.

We were very sorry to learn of the death in August of Ed. W. Knight '87, prominent lawyer and banker of Charleston, West Virginia. Though living in West Virginia he took an active interest in our Club and came to our annual meetings when possible.

Wendell Barney '29, has moved from Richmond to Winchester, Virginia, where he is resident manager for Leach, Rindfleish & Scott, the accounting firm he has been with for some years Philip W. Hiden Jr., and Lloyd U. Noland Jr., both graduated last June, are now living in Newport News, Virginia. We are glad to welcome them to our Club Thomas C. Colt '26, curator of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and Mrs. Colt took an extensive automobile trip through the West this summer visiting museums and art galleries.

The committee, composed of Dr. VanderHoof '01 and W. H. King '33, Who are in charge of getting new men for Dartmouth from this section, have some very good prospects lined up from schools in the State.

Plans are being made for the Navy Game in Baltimore on October 14. A number of alumni here are planning to go, many taking their wives. We hope to get enough for a special car from Richmond. If any alumni are interested in going with us by train please get in touch with your secretary at once.
