The New York crowd report a very happy class dinner held at the New York Dartmouth Club, on Friday night, before the Princeton-Dartmouth game. Bunker Bishop, Charlie Boyle, Frank Cudworth, Harry Gilmore, Skunk Hathaway, Hastings Lyon, Jim McCarten, Swampy Marsh, Ted Morehouse, Don Page, Joe Raphael, Tommie Remsen, Warren Rugg, and Henry Taylor answered the roll call.
Andrew Wood is a member of the freshman class at Dartmouth this year, and plays one of the big horns in the College Band. What a thrill T and May got out of seeing him march into the Harvard stadium, and do his stuff with the rest of them!
Talk about college and class spirit! Tommie Rensen has both. He did not expect to make the Dartmouth-Harvard game, but arrived home in time to charter a plane, and fly from Hudson Falls to Boston, so he enjoyed the game, and we all enjoyed having him with us for the class roundup afterwards. Tom Jr. and Ann were there for that occasion too. Tom Jr. has opened a law office in Hudson Falls, since his graduation from Albany Law School.
The regular class roundup was held at the Algonquin Club on Commonwealth Ave., Boston, after the Harvard-Dartmouth game, and every one expressed satisfaction in having the best time ever. Most of the regular crowd was there, but it was a pleasure to have the Squash Mclntyres with us for the first time, and to see the Pa Rollins again. Tommie Remsen's rendition of 'Alouette" was declared to be the best he has ever done. Several of the children of the class drifted in and out, and it seemed good to the older members to have them have a good time together.
