THE DARTMOUTH CLUB of Central Pennsylvania reached the height of its season's activities when Professor Herbert F. West '22, visited us on Saturday, April 2. The Dinner which was held at the Harrisburg Country Club was attended by a large group of Dartmouth men, their guests and prospective students, together with several of the community's leading educators. Professor West gave us a complete word picture of the present day Dartmouth. It is evident that he is deeply interested in the affairs of Dartmouth generally and the information which he gave in his talk was eagerly and enthusiastically received by the old Grads. Covering every phase of college life including scholastics, fraternities, athletics, etc., he spoke for a good hour without once failing to hold the interest of every one present.

Sid Milnor '25, had to share honors this time with George Craze '4.1, who traveled together from Williamsport to be with us. Sam Cunningham arrived on the scene from Lewistown with two guests. Ross Lyon '27, and kid brother John finally found time to be with us offering as an excuse for previous absences the fact that people are drinking so much coffee these days that they simply do not find any time to do anything but grind it out all day long. Ralph Noe '14, drove in from Huntingdon, Pa., after a long absence due to his business activities.

H. G. Van Riper '14, brought several guests including a good prospect from Carlisle. These together with the usual Harrisburg group rounded out a crowd of interested listeners for a very well informed speaker.

Checking up on several of the boys who have left our circle for one reason or the other, we find that Ted Selig '27, has received a Research Fellowship at Mellon Institute in Pittsburgh to study and develop methods for handling coal and ash in connection with modern heating and air conditioning equipment. Ted is happily married and is the father of two, or is it three fine kiddies and has his family with him in Pittsburgh. All we can say is, "Nice going fellow," to a former roommate in old Russell Sage. His address is Mellon Instiltute of Industrial Research, University of Pittsburgh. Lee Eckles has returned to Harrisburg as a practicing Attorney with offices in the State Chamber of Commerce Building. Ben Cowden '32, is now in Bah;, more working for the Federal Government. John Fager is taking graduate work at the University of Michigan. Jack Fritchey, Med. '27, is now a practicing physician in Harrisburg, and is chief of the staff at the Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital.

A letter from Larry McKenzie '30, for-merly of Lancaster informs us that he is now permanently situated in Wilmington, Delaware, with the Connecticut General Life Insurance Company. His address is 800 Equitable Trust Building. He reports having met a number of Dartmouth men in Wilmington and a decided interest in the formation of a permanent Dartmouth club there.

In corresponding with Charlie Stickney of the Eastern Penn group an idea to assemble the two groups at some sort of an outdoor function during the summer has been discussed. The idea is still just an idea and is strictly the brain child of Charlie and yours truly. We have high hopes of its development into a real get-together in a few months.
