THE USUAL XMAS meeting of the Dartmouth Club of Central Pennsylvania was held at Frank Eastman's home on December 20, 1938.

Due to the short notice given for the meeting the usual number of out-of-town members in attendance was cut down considerably but the following men from Harrisburg and vicinity were present:

R. R. Britton '17, Frank Eastman '06, John Fager '36, George Foss '97, John Lyon '35, Ross Lyon '27, Bill Page 0O6, John Page, Dick Spong '36, John VanCronkhite, John Wadham '03, John Bogar '29.

After a lengthy bull session over a keg of amber brew the gang disbanded looking forward to a mid-winter session at which time we hope to have movies and possibly other attractions.

George Scott '29, predecessor to yours truly on this job, was married to Miss Sarah McGee Dickey on Saturday, December 24, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania. The Central Penna. Club joins in wishing George and Mrs. Scott a very happy and lengthy married life.

Frank Eastman, past President of our club and one of the most active members, has shown his faith in Dartmouth men by having a number of them employed by his firm, Gannett Eastman and Flemming, Engineers, in Harrisburg, Pa. Neil Buckbee '06, Donald Buckbee '34, Ed Elsenhans '28, Stephen Stearn '37 and Dan Taggert '34 are all employed by Frank's firm in engineering work. The Company has recently been retained by the city of Harrisburg to work out a new water supply system and by the time this goes into print the work will be well under way.

We are happy to report that after a stay in the Harrisburg Hospital where he underwent treatment for nervous disorders John Wadham, our President, is now on the way to complete recovery.
