The class learns with sorrow of the death of John Rogers, which occurred on April 21. There are no particulars. On his return from reunion last June he suffered a long illness, but in a very encouraging letter received late in the fall he wrote that he had recovered and had resumed work in his clinic. An obituary notice appears in this issue Junkins, Hadlock, and Howland attended the annual dinner of C and G in New York. Later Junkins made a trip to Ohio Gage lingered in Florida until late in April Brackett has returned from Balboa Island to Claremont, Calif., address, 260 E. Third St. . . . . Knight had an illness in Florida last winter but is back on his job as class agent, as per his recent circular

Sargent's letter of last January has made the rounds of the class and aroused much interest Bell writes (April 25) that there has been no change in his status the past year; he continues teaching in College of Idaho. His married daughter, Margery, is now living in La Grande, Oregon

Milliken writes that in March he listened over the radio to a service in the First Presbyterian church of Oakland, Calif., of which Dr. Goodspeed was once pastor and heard the voice of one who in 1883 was our classmate for a few days. Most of us have no remembrance of him

Bacon writes May 7 that he has moved back to Boston, residence 40 Hawthorn St., Cambridge. He will be there during the summer. His daughter Dorothy's book, "Recent Economic History of Five Towns," has been published by the government. It is a source book of materials in the study of business cycles.

We extend to the class of 1888 our cordial good wishes for a successful reunion in June.
