Isaac Joslin Cox '97, professor of History at Northwestern University, revaluates in a paper on "Some of Chile's historians as viewed by their fellow craftsmen," published in the Proceedings of the First Convention of the American Bibliographical and library Association (Washington, 1938, pp. 51-67), the historical output of the republic whose writers have been reputed as the most historically inclined in Latin America.
