Len Manley, Madge and the children have moved from Prospect Street to 648 La Canada, La Jolla, California, "Windy" is back in Hanover and Priscilla has entered Mills College, Oakland, California, as a freshman. "Windy" was a counsellor at the Gulick Camp on Lake Morey this summer but spent two weeks with the family in La Jolla.

Miss Jean Parker Trowbridge,—yes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Parker Trowbridge of Worcester, Mass., with Miss Mary Spaulding made their joint debut at a buffet dance at the Quinsigamond Boat Club. This was on September 8.

In the June issue of Rocky MountainSportsman you find an article by Robert E. More—"The Fundamentals of fly fishing." It's up to you, Bob, to send me a copy now.

A memorial service was held for Donald Gilchrist on Sunday, October first just at 5 o'clock in the stately, big reading room at the Rush Rhees Library on the River Campus of the University of Rochester. Dr. John Slater, Head of the department of English of the University delivered the address emphasizing Don's modesty, loyalty, interest in young people, his ability, his cooperation and his influence which will persist. He spoke of Don first as a librarian, then as a citizen, then as a man and a friend. Carl and Grace Forsaith represented the class at the service and Charles Perry son of Stephen Perry, was one of the ushers. Charles is a senior at the University of Rochester.
