THE FOOTBALL SEASON is going along in fine style here in Cleveland. Each Saturday we have either radio or direct wire reports of the games at our meetings and each Saturday the crowd has become larger and more enthusiastic than the preceding one. We are now planning to work up to a grand climax for the Cornell game by having a joint party and dance with the Cornell club. Such a large crowd turned out last Saturday for the Yale game that it was a difficult job to get everyone in the room. As the game progressed the local cheering section became so vociferous that one could almost imagine himself actually in the Yale Bowl. The big surprise of the afternoon was the cheerleading ability displayed by our president Nels Newcomb '24.

Recent visitors to the club have been Ben Burch '32 and Judge Opper 'lB of the Board of Tax Appeals who is in Cleveland for a short time. We are also glad to welcome to our membership Alfred Merritt '23 who has recently moved here from Philadelphia.

The club is attempting to compile and publish a directory of all Dartmouth men in Cleveland and vicinity. If any of the men reading this column are not on our mailing list or are incorrectly listed we would be very grateful if they would notify the Secretary as soon as possible.
