THE Dartmouth Secretaries Association will hold its 35th annual meetings in Hanover on Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13. At that time one hundred or more secretaries of alumni classes and associations will be guests of the College for the week-end.

The first business session will be held in the 1902 Room of Baker Library at 2 Friday afternoon, adjourning at 4:30 in time for the informal tea and reception which President and Mrs. Hopkins will give for the secretaries and their wives. The annual dinner will be held in Thayer Hall on Friday night, with President Hopkins, F. William Andres '29, president of the Association, and Robert W. Gibson '39, secretary of the senior class, listed as speakers. The final business session will be held in the Library on Saturday morning.

Secretaries of alumni clubs and associations will gather for a divisional meeting late Saturday afternoon to devote an hour to a discussion of common problems. The afternoon will otherwise be free for recreation, including a track meet with Holy Cross, a lacrosse game with Yale, and a freshman baseball game with Tilton. Saturday evening there will be an informal party at the Hanover Inn Ski Hut, where movies will be shown and Ross McKenney, woodsman adviser of the Outing Club, will speak.

The program for the business sessions includes an invocation by the Reverend Charles C. Merrill '94; address of welcome by President Andres; a report from the Alumni Council by Robert J. Holmes 09; a report from the Athletic Council by William H. McCarter '19, director of athletics; a discussion of the 1939 Alumni Fund by Sumner B. Emerson '17, chairman of the Alumni Fund Committee of the Alumni Council; a discussion of the Dartmouth College Film Service; reports on the ALUMNI MAGAZINE by Sidney C. Hayward '26, editor, and Norman Stevenson '05, business manager; and a discussion of the Class Group Subscription Plan by Harold P. Hinman '10, chairman of the Alumni Council Committee on Alumni Organization. Committee reports and election of officers will complete the docket.
