Apparently the class's love life has quieted down for the time being, though October 12 saw the wedding of Barbara Nobel Hutton and Art Soule, with Henry McDuff best man, and ushers Reno and Mays. Same day for Sandy Mills and Jenot Warner in Cleveland. I mentioned Bob Reeve's engagement last month, but neglected the girl it's Claire Louise Bruch. August 31 was the day for Irv Stronach and Ida Litchfield, with ushers Herb Badger, Tom Roland, Hoby Rockwell, Bill Olmstead, Ben Walkley, and Harry Page. She's from Bradford and Erskine. Bob McConeghy and Winifred Taylor Hammond of Manchester married July 6, with Arlington Bensel among the ushers.

June 15 for Jack Griffith and Katherine Louise Johnson of Des Moines and Northwestern. Looks like there are more than I thought, because here are some more.

Fred Mayne and Katherine Stark Newell of New York, Bradford, and Miss Wheelock's on June 32, with best man Jerry Tosi, and Scott Runkle and King Vandenberg helping to usher. August 17 for George Lynch and Alice Gwendolyn Nugent of Oakville, Conn. May 29 for Jack Hull and Doris Treptow of Skidmore. Also announced was the engagement of Bud Newman and Gertrude Chapman of Orange, N. J.

The news is a little scattered this month, inasmuch as I've moved again. Indianapolis is a little closer to class activity than Texas was, so I'll be seeing some of you soon. George Zeluff is in his last year of medical school at Columbia P. & S., Bob Stix is with Chrysler Motors in Highland Park, Michigan, Dave Polk is a school master at Ashbury College in Ontario. Roland Moody is a librarian at Queens College on Long Island, and Bud Hanley is a salesman for Clark Tructractor, though just where I'm not sure. Mouse Hallett is now a safety engineer for the Lumbermans Mutual in Boston. John Knight is with the Bank of America in Beverly Hills, California. Paul Urion's back at Virginia Law. George Payne is in district sales office of Jones and Laughlin Steel in Chicago. As for others in Chicago, young Walls is apparently going great guns for the Connecticut Mutual, Van Kirk is still making the rounds, and Cocktails Borneman has joined the Naval Reserve, planning for his sail in November. Skip French is with Marshall and Ilsley Bank in Milwaukee. Ted Bear is now a teacher at Culver Military Academy, after a year of teaching at the New York Institute for the Blind. Frank Doane is a lastmaker for the George E.

Belcher Cos., in Stoughton, Mass. Frank Davenport is a restaurateur at 325 Market Street, Harrisburg, Pa., and says all meals for '38 are free. Dick Morse is still with Hawaii Pineapple Co., but now in Lanai City, Hawaii. Chick Mock is back at Harvard Medical. Charles Main is in textiles for the Pelzer Mills, Pelzer, S. C. Bob Jones is in the sales research division of National Broadcasting in New York. Tom Herbert is with Proctor and Gamble in Newark.

Val Cravens is with Gunnison Housing Corp. in New Albany, Indiana. And here's another Hoosier. Bob Chickering is at Indiana University in Bloomington. We'll have a group here soon.

A1 Boerker is a laboratory technician in Hanover, and when I saw him this summer he was quite enthused over the prospects of making some advances in cancer research. Bill Bennett is an accountant for Colgate-Palmolive-Peet in Jersey City, and Boutilier is back as a teacher-coach combination at Amesbury Junior High School.

Plans for this fall are a little nebulous but there will be a gathering at the Statler in Boston before the Harvard game, and another at the Taft before the New Haven struggle. So far as dinners are concerned, the Boston, Chicago and New York committees are at work, and advices will be sent out by card. The class movies are available for any get-togethers, and for those who haven't seen them yet, the opportunity presents itself.
