Ohio Scholarship

ESTABLISHMENT of an Ohio Regional Scholarship, similar to the Chicago Alumni Association Scholarship, was announced late in September upon receipt of a check for $500 from the Dartmouth Club of Cleveland. The Club stated its intention of perpetuating the scholarship by means of annual contributions of similar or larger amounts.

As in the case of all other Dartmouth scholarships, the funds of the Ohio Re- gional Scholarship will be adminstered by the College in accordance with established financial aid procedures. In sending the Club's check to President Hopkins, President Daniel L. Harris 'l7 and Secretary Wallace Mountcastle '22 wrote as follows:

"We desire that this money be used for the start of a Cleveland Regional Scholarship similar to the already set up Chicago Plan and that this money be given towards the aid of some worthy student, or students, selected by you, or properly designated authorities of the College, preferably from the Cleveland group."
