THE ANNUAL ELECTION of officers was held at Clark Schmidt's house, September 16. Contrary to past elections, the new officers were present at the meeting and were able to defend themselves, but in spite of this, Hugh Logan '34, was elected president, Boyd Rogers '35, vice president, Bill Rench '34, secretary, Ben Gutman '37, treasurer, Martin Kerwin '33, as retiring president was unanimously elected Master of the Hunt with Pete Grace '33, retaining his position as First Beagle due to his connections with the beer industry, and Tom Curtis '32, became Second Beagle due to his political connections which we suppose will keep us out of trouble.
Our fall picnic was held Saturday, October 5, and Jim (barbecue) Franciscus '24 was in charge of steaks with First Beagle Grace in charge of beer.
Organized or not, we are still having lunch every Saturday noon at the American Hotel. Those of you who come to St. Louis can join us there.
