D.O.C. of Northern California

The Dartmouth Outing Club of Northern California has had another successful year with members, their families, and guests enjoying the cabin to the utmost throughout the year. Even members Ed Little '41 and Luther Leeger '46 from Southern California have made the long trip north. Member Wally Clark '47 has enjoyed Donner Summit so much that he has built his own cozy A-frame cabin a short distance away. One of our work parties with some neighbors recently joined the Clarks there for a libation to ward off the chill of an October evening.

This year we held our annual meeting at the home of Al and Jean Grant '43 in Hayward. The following officers were elected: President, Fred Springer-Miller '49; Vice President, Dick Danforth '54; Vice President, Al Grant '43; Treasurer, Carl Ward'32; Asst. Treasurer, Jack Garfein '21; Secretary, Bob Alien '33; Directors, Ed Drechsel '36 and Tavey Taylor '28.
