NINE RECENT GRADUATES of the College are among the 55 men chosen by the U S. Army Air Corps to take special training in meteorology and weather forecasting at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Dartmouth men are Gage N. Aborn '36, Swampscott, Mass.; James T. Seaver Jr. '38, Bronxville, N. Y.; Edward M. Daley '39, Longmeadow, Mass.; James H. Fuller '39, Plandome, N. Y.; Joseph M. Bird '40, Maplewood, N. J.; Sherwood G. Burnett '40, Middleboro, Mass.; James H. Cooke '40, Burlington, Vt.; William M. Daniels '40, Newtonville, Mass.; and David H. Fish '40, Evanston, Ill.
The men chosen for the special course had to be graduates of an accredited college or university and had to give evidence of marked ability in mathematics, physics and kindred subjects. '
