In brief

• March marks the thirtieth anniversary of Dartmouth College Radio 1340 WDCR. Its sibling station, 99 WFRD-FM, went on the air in 1976.

• The Office of Residential Life recently recognized Zeta Psi and Chi Gamma Epsilon for academic excellence and Delta Sigma Theta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Delta, Sigmu Nu and Psi Upsilon for community service. Kappa Alpha Theta received the O'Connor Cup for leadership, programming and scholarship. Zeta Psi is expected to regain College recognition at the end of winter term. The house had lost recognition last spring over incidents that included production of a sexually explicit newsletter.
