Henry and Mrs. Austin closed their winter home in St. Petersburg, Florida and started northward by auto early in May; they made a few stops on the way, including a short stay in Washington, reaching their summer home in Webster, N. H., about May 10th, thus giving them ample time to get settled there before leaving for our Fifty-Fifth Reunion in Hanover which begins on June 14th. They will have much to explain in defense of Florida's rigorousclimate during last winter.

Good news continues to come from "Life" Philbrick regarding his recovery from his serious accident of last December, when he broke his left leg in two places and his right arm and a rib; he is now able to walk a little and much as we would like to have him at our reunion, we cannot expect him to make the journey under the circumstances.

Arthur Whitcomb, who has spent the past winter in St. Petersburg, Florida, is improving and he is now at home with a nurse, his present address being 1740 Grandville Court, St. Petersburg.

Otis Hovey, as a part of his duties as the Director of the Engineering Foundation of New York, spent two days during May in Boston inspecting several research propositions which the Engineering Foundation is promoting at Harvard College and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; during his visit the Secretary and Mrs. Bayley had the pleasure of entertaining him at dinner and an auto drive through portions of the Boston Park System. Otis and his wife are planning to attend our reunion in June, one of the enjoyable features of which will be his fine flute playing which has added so much to the pleasure of our reunions in past years.

The call has gone out for Alumni Fund contributions—let each of us realize our responsibility by assisting our class agent, Otis Hovey, with some contribution, be it small or large, for the cause is a deserving one.

Our class will have its reunion headquarters at the Hanover Inn, where we shall also have a general gathering and assembly room, all of which is arranged for the comfort and convenience of us "oldsters" and every living member of our class, graduates and non-graduates, is expected to be represented either in person or by a rousing good letter.
