THE RETURN OF the Dartmouth footballers to Ithaca this fall, after an absence of two years, will be well celebrated with an "on the scene" party modelled after the blowout engineered last winter to celebrate the basketball victory. The affair will be handled by Stan Brown '39 with the aid of Hank Smith '33 and the enlarged contingent of Dartmouth men enrolled in the graduate schools of Cornell University.

Although the details of this party are still hazy, it shapes up somewhat as follows:

A get-together for early arrivals will be held Friday evening, Nov. 14. This will consist of little else than filling the bowl and bulling, with a few prognostications from such celebrities as can be prevailed upon to appear. We hope to have Coach McLaughry or some member of his able staff say a few words.

A dining room on the campus will be reserved for Dartmouth rooters to get their lunch in before the game Saturday, and a complete evening after the game will be provided. Program will be announced in these columns next month.

In order that we can plan the week-end at this end it would be helpful to know how many men would be interested in joining us. Communications addressed to Stan Brown, Myron Taylor Hall, Ithaca, N. Y. will assist us, and will bring the writer detailed information on the party as it develops. We shall also undertake to arrange lodgings for any Dartmouth rooters who get in their applications early enough to allow us to make the proper arrangements. The sooner the better on this angle.
