Wood writes that he and Mrs. Wood are pretty well—also—"The Sonnet on the Lords in the February MAGAZINE gives me great pleasure. Johnnie Lord was a fine man. Indeed were they not all fine men? Intercourse with such men, regardless of class room work was an education."

A brother of Mrs. Thurston writes that he made a delightful call upon Biff and Lillian in St. Petersburg, Florida—BifE is still at work on the genealogy of the Kelly family.

We still have four doctors in 'B6—we shall have some further notes about Tommie Harris and Spud Smith as Doctors for our 55th Year Reunion in June. Meanwhile I pass on information about Spud which was printed in the ManchesterUnion, Feb. 16, '4l. "The New Hampshire Medical Society is to have its 150 th Anniversary next May—it was founded by Josiah Bartlett.

"Sole reminder that this is a time or special significance in New Hampshire medical history was the appearance last week of a book devoted to the life of the fourth oldest Medical Society in the United States—

'Society's History Is Told

"Entitled—'The Story of the New Hampshire Medical Society'—the 79-page volume was distributed to the more than goo doctors who are now on the membership rolls of the society. The book is a condensation of many volumes of dusty records—and it chronicles the life of the society and its members in compact retrospect. The book is the work of Dr. Henry O. Smith of Hudson, a relative of Josiah Bartlett."

Pete was a member of the N. H. Medical Society for 52 years and expects to attend its sesquicentennial next May.

Both Spud and Pete plan to be with us at Hanover in June—we hope our other two doctors—Harris and Ross will also be with us. Pete hopes that the Huses and his granddaughter Eleanor will come with him —they were all with us in 1936.

Here's hoping, that we shall also see at least a mimeographed copy of "Pete's FourYears at Dartmouth."
