Here's a plug for all class treasurers, especially for our wonderful class treasurer Hosea Harvey! His painstaking efforts to collect money from us poor folks enabled Chicago residents to celebrate Winter Carnival without trekking to Hanover. Steph McMichael '94, Shelley Branam '94, and I hosted a gala event for '92s through '95s living in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin funded by class dues. The artistic invitations designed by Steph are sure to be collector's items. If you live near the Chicago area and didn't receive an invite, then I urge you to change your address with the alumni office immediately. That way you won't miss out on any future fun! And let me tell you there will be plenty of it.

Besides planning parties and such, I actually have been working, and rather long hours, I might add. And in my rush to get this column out (not to mention the fact that Katherine Kaneko wrote me a wealth of information that I couldn't bear to edit), here's the scoop on Katherine and a few others...."I've been living in Hanoi, Vietnam, since July 1995, working for a British law firm called Freshfields as a paralegal (whatever that means). Mostly it's happened that I've become their computer person—amazing what a little knowledge of Blitz Mail and how to access sites on World Wide Web will do for you. I'm at a watershed period, though—l intend to stop working with Freshfields in June, and then I would like to travel to Turkey and Greece and Syria, Israel, Egypt, then go back to the States in early September." Katherine added that Jessica Keyt and Andrea Wetzler are living abroad. Jessica is in London writing plays while Andrea is in Buenos Aires working by day and dancing by night.

Here's a run down on people who have been kind enough to write. Todd Iannucelli is working at the Muscle Builders Fitness Center in Wilmington, Del., as a trainer. He also performs in the percussion section of the Southern Delaware Symphony Orchestra. Michale Glennon is working toward a master's degree in wildlife biology at the College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse. She is "researching the use of satellite imagery to assess wildlife populations through the monitoring of land use (wow, that was a long sentence)." Katya Vladimirsky is finishing an M.A. in comparative literature at Dartmouth. Soon she'll be on her way "to the exciting town of Ann Arbor to join lan Czaja '94. We'll be running away from the city as often as we can with Jon and Joann Prescott-Roy, who also live in said city. We've decided that Ann Arbor would be perfect if only we could transplant it to the mountains!"

Write or face the consequences of an empty column.
