John Patrick English '16 and family, graduating from the home musicales of the past few years, made their radio debut over Station WFEA (Manchester, N. H.), on Sunday evening, March 23. Master of Ceremonies was John Patrick himself and assisting were his wife, Kay, and children, Bob, 17; Kathleen, 16; Jackie, 15; Joanne, 12; and Carolyn, 9.

Eight piano and vocal classical selections gave each of the family his or her turn before the mike, either singly or in duo. Included in the program were Ave Maria, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata, Chopin's Waltzin E Minor and Prelude # 6, and Schubert's Impromptu in A Flat.

Modest John Patrick confessed to the announcer that he could neither sing nor play and our reporter, an envious member of the old Campus Quartet, was guilty of the following footnote: "Who but a barber ever said he could?"
