ALUMNI GYMNASIUM MORTGAGE BURNED

The continued generosity and interest in the College of Howard Clark Davis 'O6 was demonstrated when on November 11, at the last football practice of the year, the mortgage on Alumni Gymnasium was burned with the football dummy.

The gymnasium mortgage for several years has been reduced by $5OOO a year applied from the Alumni Fund. Last year Mr. Davis requested that he be permitted to assume the obligation of paying the amount ordinarily drawn from the fund and this year made a similar request that he might assume obligation for the final installment of $5OOO.
