NINETEEN DARTMOUTH undergraduates were accepted by the U. S. Marine Corps on May 14 for training classes which will make them candidates for officers' commissions. Seven seniors were picked for the Candidates' Class, which will start three months' training about July 1, and twelve juniors and sophomores for the Platoon Leaders' Class, which will divide its training period into six weeks this summer and six weeks in the summer of 1942.

Y.; John W. Kelley, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Frank C. Dressner, Malverne, N. Y. The first four are principals, and the last three are alternates whose training will begin in October rather than July.
