THE REGULAR MAY MEETING was held on the evening of the 2nd and Alva Wilson '25 was our host. Bill Drier '24, recently transferred to Atlanta by the W. T. Grant Cos., joined us for the first time, and Jim Atwill '36 took leave of Army life at Fort McPherson to make his first appearance; both were heartily welcomed.
The main item of business was election of officers. The nominating committee, represented by Alva Wilson offered Dr. Ben S. Read '32 as president and Leroy R. Adams '25 as secretary-treasurer; these were unanimously approved by the twelve members present.
The gang broke into cheers at the announcement that the windup of the season would be one of Bud McKenney's famous picnic parties at his home in Dunwoody on Saturday, June 7 from mid-afternoon on into the night. All Dartmouth men hereabouts take notice.
