A very well written and informative letter from Mott Hupfel brings us up-to-date on his whereabouts and work. After 10 years as an analyst and money manager for Laird, Inc., Mott and four others recently formed a small investment counselling firm with the strikingly original name of Wilmington Capital Management, Inc. He feels encouraged about the prospects and has maintained solvency to date. His winter fitness schedule includes several week nights of hockey and summers find him attacking tennis balls. In his community, Mott is involved with the local Opportunity Industrialization Center, training the un- and under-employed for worthwhile productive jobs. Mott, his wife Alice, and three children live in Wilmington. Good to hear from you at long last, Mott.

Dr. Bill Froble has recently been appointed director of the School of Cytotechnology at the Medical College of Virginia. He reports seeing Ken Thomas who is an instructor in Thorasic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the same school. Alan Ranch, an oilman in Houston, spent Christmas season touring Mexico via railroad a la "Chihuahua a Pacifico Ferrocarril" with his wife Lynette and three children. Recalling my experience with a Mexican railroad 15 years ago, Alan and family seem to be adventuresome types.
Tom Fead is still living in Denver and selling life insurance for Connecticut Mutual. He sees Bob Montgomery from time to time as well as Neil! Barker. Tom believes Denver to be a booming business town and a wonderful place to live. I heartily concur. John Di Noto Jr. has recently moved to Garden City, N. Y. John and his wife have four children. Kendall Link, a minister in Harrisburg, Pa., reports on some recent happenings. He conducted a tour of Israel, visiting Biblical sites and then geographical locations important in the life of Paul in Greece. In addition to having a weekly religious news broadcast and onehalf weekly devotional series on a local radio station, he has written a couple of articles for a professional magazine. Along with his pastoral duties, Kendall sounds like a very busy man. Dick Benoit is chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Rota, Spain. Dick, his wife, and three sons are travelling and sailing as much as possible prior to their return to the U.S.A. this summer. Bill Beard is the area manager for Carrier Overseas Corp. covering Southern Africa. A resident of Johannesburg, South Africa, Bill, wife Phyllis, and three children are enjoying the sunny weather at this time of year while reading of our snow and other inclement weather. Tom Aitken is working as an oceanographer, marine geologist, and geophysicist for a unit of Columbia University. He recently arrived back in New York from a threemonth tour in the South Seas during which time he was in port only two times. Sounds as if he has a very interesting job when compared to us landlubbers. Major SteveKatz recently graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University with a M.B.A. degree. After two months' refresher flying training in Florida, he will be assigned to an Aerospace Recovery Squadron in Vietnam as a navigator for a year. After 18 months on a coeducational campus, Steve strongly supports coeducation for Dartmouth.
Regards to all until next month.
