When George Morris '11 visited Havana recently he met Allan P. (Kid) Fowler '10, whom he had not seen for 31 years. As a result the brief visit of the Morris family was even more pleasant than they had previously expected it would be.
George reports of Kid: "Allan has been.... for some time superintendent of manufacturing with the Matanzas Sugar Company Everyone seems to know him He is planning a new connection with the manufacturers of sugar refining equipment which permits of refining sugar at the mill This Process may work a minor revolution in sugar economy and has now passed the stage where it is experimental. With Fowler's knowledge of the sugar industry and his acquaintance in its personnel, he seems destined to capitalize on many years of hard work."
Commenting on the happy incident of their meeting, George says it "demonstrates what a great fraternity Dartmouth is."
