Walter Rowe's son, Preston, is a Captain in the Army Had a chat with John F. McDonald recently. His son, John, also a graduate of Dartmouth has joined the Air Force Dan Ruggles spent the summer, as usual, at Nantucket. The trip home proved a little tiring "Bishop" Reed's son, Harry, Dartmouth '3l is doing an ex- cellent job in Government service. He is in the State Department, and has been con- nected with the American Embassy in Ec- uador for a number of years. He then had a term of service in the Department at Washington, and a short time ago he was sent on a special mission to Latin America. His father is not as well as one could wish; we hope he may improve soon Reyn- olds spent August and September at "The Homestead," the nationally known resort hotel in the Virginia Mountains.
