Ran across Charley Lamprey this week and got the news of that family. They are busy getting established in their Sudbury home where they now spend all their time. Owing to war restrictions, the house must wait, but they have built one room—a 16 by 20 living room with a beamed ceiling, big fire place, and attractive window arrangement.
In October, while scouting for ferns in Fairlee, Mrs. Lamprey fell between some boulders and badly dislocated her shoulder. After a few days in the Hanover hospital she was able to return to Sudbury, but is still handicapped by a strapped side.
You are always sure of a warm welcome when you drop in on the Lampreys.
