ON THE NIGHT OF January 25, the Club entertained three Dartmouth men stationed at Fort Devens. They were Larry Hull, Jim Tompkins, and Fred Pickering. Other Dartmouthians stationed at Devens were invited to dine with the Council at the Cabin but had to refuse because they could not be excused from duty. Ben Drew '32, ably supported by George Hawkins '3l, prepared a wonderful steak dinner with all the fixings. After the feed, we sat around the fire where we swapped stories with the army men until it was well past our normal bed-time. The stories told, although highly entertaining, were not of the bed-time variety, however.

The Cabin is opened each Sunday by one of its members who is host for the day to any Dartmouth man and his friends. The fires are blazing and there is a good stock of staples on the food shelves; guests are invited to bring along their "piece de resistance," some congenial friends (or if books are preferred, there is a good supply at the Cabin), and to spend a unique and enjoyable Sunday.
