ABOUT THIRTY MEMBERS of the Club enjoyed a showing of colored movies, taken on a trip to Greenland last summer, by "Beany" Nutt '41, out at the cabin in Groton. The pictures were excellent and really gave us a clear idea of what continual snow and ice give a group of people for living conditions. Beany accompanied Captain Bob Bartlett on several of his summer trips.

On April 14 we had a very successful spring cleaning work party at the Cabin. We were able to get the inside of the cabin all cleaned up and did quite a little work on the grounds. This work included the installation of gutters along the edge of the roof to save the porch from the weather.

On April 28 we had our first spring baseball workout, and it looks as though we ought to have a real big league softball team. At present our lineup is still a matter of conjecture.

On May 25 we are having our annual spring dance in Groton, and if affairs in the past are any indication, we should have a hangup time this year. Everyone is invited and this is definitely not a dress affair. Come out and try a few square dances for yourself.
