Readers in Service

BEGINNING WITH THIS ISSUE the ALUMNI MAGAZINE will go to army camps and naval stations where one or more Dartmouth men are located. Announcement of the plan is being sent to commanding officers and the address used in each case in mailing the copies is the U.S.O. or camp library. Surveys have shown us that most alumni in the service are receiving their Dartmouth magazines, either via a camp or naval address, or through the plan that seems preferable and more satisfactory of having copies sent to the home address and forwarded by the folks there.

In any event we want you to see the ALUMNI MAGAZINE every month. Upwards of 200 copies will be mailed monthly to army and navy reading rooms. The expense will be met by cutting corners here and there and by the back-log of support for this publication that is provided by the class group subscription plan. If your reading room does not receive a copy let us know at once.
