THERE WAS NOTHING in the line of important activities among the members of the Dartmouth Club of Long Island during the past month. It is apparent that war work and activities are keeping many of the men busy these days and nights. Art Keleher '27 and Jack Shaw '27 are active in drill instruction for the Garden City Aux. Police. Lt. Keleher may be seen directing traffic in Garden City. W. C. Catterall '21 is active in the Aux. Fire Department in the same village. Chris Suttmeier '22 has been a member of the Local Draft Board in Jamaica for the past year and a half.
Robert Thomas '39 has been assigned to the Prairie State training to be an Ensign. Air Cadet Bill Coulson '40 of Garden City is home on furlough and it is rumored that matrimony is in the wind.
Other alumni news has been scattering. It is reported that Dr. Irv Kramer '32 has taken up residence in a fine new house at Russell Gardens in Great Neck. Bill Jessup '3O and his wife now live at Lake Success. Their second baby arrived recently. Congratulations Bill! Fred Stutzmann '25, well known funeral director in Queens Village, is a proud daddy of four children, the youngest is fifteen months old.
The executive committee expects to announce shortly plans for a spring party. Further announcements will follow, through the mails.
