World War I Pictures
June 1942

THE ARCHIVES DEPARTMENT of Baker Library would greatly value additions to its files of World War I pictures which were taken either in Hanover in 1917-1918 or at locations where Dartmouth men were stationed either in this country or in France. The College collection of war pictures of 25 years ago is slim. Some alumni have already sent prints or negatives. Other gifts will be greatly appreciated and in cases where desired the negatives will be returned or the prints will be kept as loans.

Members of World War I classes are urged to consult their scrapbooks and college memorabilia to see if they have pictures that would help build up the Baker Library collection. The editors of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE may also find such pictures very useful for publication. Identification of persons shown in photographs will be appreciated.
